Down south, we love a good daybed swing on the porch. It goes back generations. It’s a southern thing. We dress it up with pretty pillows and have our friends over for sweet, iced tea and visit. Back in the day, our ancestors didn’t have air conditioning, so during the steamy summers down south, they would sleep outside on the daybed swing to keep cool.
